Privacy Policy for Disco Defense

This Privacy Policy describes how Tommygun Studios LLC ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and manages your data in connection with our VR application, Disco Defense, available on the Meta Quest platform.
1. Organization-Managed Policy
This Privacy Policy is maintained and managed directly by Tommygun Studios LLC, the organization responsible for publishing and operating this application.
2. Data We Collect
We collect only the minimal data required to support core functionality and user experience:
- Gameplay Preferences: Stored locally on your device using Unity's PlayerPrefs, including modifier settings and other game options.
- User Alias: When you submit a score to the leaderboard, you may enter an alias of your choice using the in-game keyboard. This alias is processed by an AI system to filter out inappropriate content.
- Leaderboard Data: Your alias and score are submitted to Unity's Leaderboard service. No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected, stored, or transmitted.
- Crash Reports: In the event of an application crash, anonymous diagnostic data may be collected to help us identify and fix technical issues. These reports do not contain any personally identifiable information.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Gameplay Preferences: Used locally to retain your in-game modifier settings and preferences between play sessions.
- User Alias: Used solely to identify your score on the public leaderboard. This alias is filtered by AI for inappropriate language and stored with your score in Unity's Leaderboard service.
- Leaderboard Data: Displayed in-game to compare scores with other players.
- Crash Reports: Used to identify, troubleshoot, and fix technical issues to improve the stability and performance of the application.
We do not collect or store your Meta account information, device data, physical location, or other personal identifiers.
4. Data Deletion Requests
If you would like your submitted alias and score to be removed from the leaderboard, you may contact us at [email protected] with your alias and approximate score/time of submission. We will make reasonable efforts to identify and delete your leaderboard entry within 30 days of receiving the request.
Locally stored preferences (PlayerPrefs) can be deleted by uninstalling the app from your device.
5. Data Protection Compliance
We follow industry-standard security practices and comply with Meta's data protection and privacy guidelines. All submitted data is handled responsibly and is limited to what is necessary for functionality. No sensitive personal information is collected, stored, or shared.
